I just got engaged before christmas, and I am new to the whole formality of picking bridesmaids and ettiquite so on...so anyway here's my question: I have 2 best friends and my cousin i know I want in my wedding (they already know too)...but my FH has two little sisters (preteen) do I invite them too???? Would it be bad repor on my part if I don't? I just feel that they are kinda young and all the rest of us are about the same age. Oh and one more thing does it look worse if my FH is planning to have my brother who is 25 to be his?

If they are pre-teen, you can make them a junior bridesmaid. That's what I would do.
In my opinion, I think you should ask his sistes into your wedding party. I know it is usually expected. It's up to you though.
FH's sister is in my wedding party and my brother is in his.

For us, I chose my girls (my 3 closest friends) and FH chose the guys (his 2 closest friends and his brother).
I have 3 brothers - one about my FH's age and two teenage ones. I did not ask FH to put any of them in the bridal party. We decided to have my younger brothers and his 12 year old nephew as 'ushers' to help out. My older brother won't be a part at all, but his daughter, my cutie 3.5 year old niece will be our flowergirl.
Honestly, it's up to you. I hate it when things 'are expected' because it is your wedding. If you would like to include them, I'd have them as junior bridesmaids, or personal attendants, or even readers (although I think they're too young to be readers, but maybe they're very mature?)...

If their pre-teen thats young, I would just make them be Junior Bridesmaids. I still would definitely include them, it would be wrong not to, unforunitely. . .
i have 2 jr bridesmaids they are both my nieces one is 10 and one is 13

Thanks guys, I can't believe how fast i got responses...I think I'm becoming addicted to this site! I really thing the jr. bridesmaids is a good idea. I love them like they're my own...well they will be anyway so I just don't want to give them too much responsibilty b/c than I think my MIL will have a lot more to do.

I would ask them to be in it as junior bridesmaids, ESPECIALLY if your FH is asking your brother.

i think that your bm should be your friends & cousin casue thats what you want....Fh sisters are young, let them be jr bm or just a guest whats wrong with that....
