Hi ladies, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any companies that make bridesmaids seperates, or any bridal shops that carry them. I am having 8 BM's in my wedding, and I was thinking of having them all decide on what top to wear and have them all wear the same bottom and same color. All of my BM's are different shapes, heights, ect, and there is no way I am getting all of them in the same dress. I was in a wedding where everyone was a size 2, and I was a 10, and I know what it is like to feel like you have to squeeze into a gown that you hate, so I felt like I would give the girls a choice. Thanks in advance for any help!

David's Bridal. They have a selection of different style for all body types. I'm trying to do the same thing for my wedding party but want to try somewhere different that can offer me the same concept. I'm the moh in a wedding in OCt and we all went through them. They were good, a bit of a mad house. I just want my dresses to be different.

Thank you for your input. I should have stated before that I want to avoid Davids Bridal, I had a horrible experience with them when I was in a wedding in March, and I do not want to give them my business. I will check out the other recommendations. Thanks again!

I am in a bridal party next year and maybe wearing one the separates by Alfred Angelo. (we will all be wearing the same dress though) Hope this links works:
I used After Six/Dessy dresses and let the girls all pick their own dress. I picked color, mfg and material and pretty much all the girls had the same skirt just different tops.

Impressions also has a nice line of seperates. (www.impressionbridal.com) I have bridesmaids from a size 4 to 28 and a matron of honor who will be 7months pregnant. I was able to find something for everyone. Good luck.

Burtons Bridal in Farmingdale has samples of all the Impressions Bridal separates. I chose the impression separates for my girls and they all love them. Burtons has a whole rack of them.
