Bridesmaids Shoes

I want to find out what you all are doing for bridesmaids shoe. The dresses are a lavender/periwinkle color, and I do not really want to do the dyed-to-match shoes. Would silver be good, or is everyone doing the dyed shoes?

I think silver would be lovely with that color. I'm am doing dyed shoes - but my girls are on claret (red). I almost did silver but it didn't go with some of the bead work on the dress.

At my sister's wedding we had a similar color and yes, we wore silver shoes, and they looked great! The material was satin-like, so it had a shine/shimmer.

I recommend 'dyeing for you' it a store in Lynderhurst. They have all types of wedding, party shoes. And if your girls complain about dyables they allow you to have them dyed to black the week after the wedding for free, so then it's not a totall lost if the girls like their shoes, they will just now have an extra black pair! lol I have been going there since I was 16 for dyed shoes. My mom is the Queen of everything must be dyed!!lol I was able to scam a pair of Cinderalla glass slippers for a few dress I have that change colors (ombre effect):) Best of luck!

It sounds like your bridesmaid dresses are a similar color to mine. I wanted the dyed shoes, but now that I think about it the silver might be nice

I'm having my girls get silver for our celadon dresses...

so I think that the color will look nice as well with your dress color. I am letting the girls get what ever type shoe they want or to use a shoe they already have. The dresses are floor length, so I don't think you'll even see them...

Yabbobay....

My BM's are wearing celadon dresses from David's that have a sort of silvery embrodery on them, along with a rhinestone pin on the front, so I thought the silver shoes would look awesome. What dresses are your BM's wearing? Good Luck!!

the BM sresses are bari jay celedon with a 1/2' lace/ribbon right underneath the bust. I see how silver would go with yours...I know dyed shoes would be good, but I just don't like them... now my sister is complaining about wearing open toed shoes! UGH!
