I know I'm being bridezilla like but it's only in my head and now finally on here so I hope it's ok!!! I've been with fh for 6 1/2 years. I've been to so many weddings and showers for our family and friends and I was alwys excited and interested in what was going on. Well now it's my turn and I want some attention! 2 of my bridesmaids are pregnant ( 3 were but one is due day of my wedding so she had to back out!) And 4 of fh cousins are pregnant also. All I'm hearing about is the pregnancys and it's driving me crazy! I know I'm being bridezilla-like but I was happy and excited for all of these girls when they got married and now I feel like they are so into their pregnancys that there is no time to think of a wedding. My family, sisters, moh, FH and I are still VERY excited so I guess that's what really matters but I needed it off my chest!

First of all You are allowed to want attention, thats what this site it for-to vent the things you cant say to those people. Unfortunately you cant ask them to pay more attention to you, but the day of you wedding you will get so much attention that you wont know what to do with yourself.

You are totally allowed to WANT attention.. there is nothing unnatural about FEELING THAT WAY!!!!!you aren't a BRIDEZILLA at all

I completely understand how you feel. I have always planned on my best friend (MOH) to help plan my wedding. She has a little baby and I've heard from her maybe 3 times since I've been engaged. Another bridesmaid is getting married in a few months. I love my girls, but I do at times feel like my wedding doesn't really matter to the closest people in my life. We have this amazing bridal shower and bachelorette party planned for the other bride, but I feel like when my time comes....it'll be just last minute thrown together. Now after this little rant....there is something I do keep in mind. Even though these people have things going on in their lives they love me and will be there for me as best as they can, which I am sure is true for you as well. It's good to want that attention, but know that when the day comes this day will be ALL about you and your FH and it will be one of the most unforgettable days of your life.

that is frustrating! None of my Bridesmaids are even pregnant and I want more attention then I am getting! I hope they relize and start giving you the attention you deserve! :)

I know it's hard......most of my close friends are married now and one is pregnant now and my MOH wants to get pregnant very, very soon. Stay super-excited for yourself and you won't let anyone get to you....we are here to remind you that YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED whenver you need it! LOL

awww i would be feelign the same way! thats not bridezilla, as long as you dont start acting all b*tchy, which it totally doenst sound like you are, at least your side is all happy for you!!!! like you said, thats what really counts!
