Has anyone been to bridgeview yacht club? FH and I went to check it out today and we walked in and it took the girl sitting there a good 2 minutes until she turned around and said uhh what are you here for? So we told her we had an appt to inquire about a wedding so she got someone. The woman came out, offered us something to drink and told us to take OURSELVES on a tour of the place, and to go upstairs and check out the bridal suite. Well that would have been fine and dandy if the bridal sweet wasn't locked!!! Then we checked out the ballroom and there were a ton of people setting up for a bar mitzvah, we were completely in their way and the whole thing was awkward. Then we got back to where we had been waiting in the first place and the lady never came out. FH and I got so fed up we just left w/out speaking with her. Did anyone else have this problem? The place was really beautiful but if this is how they perform when they are trying to get my business imagine how it will be when they already have my money!

wow thats really rude...I would have been very annoyed!! Its funny because i actually went to a wedding there a few weeks ago and I can honestly say it was the best wedding i've ever been to! The room was gorgeous, the food was amazing and everyone at the wedding partied all night!

I had an appointment! The weirdest part is the woman told FH that we can't come at 12 b/c she has another appt (ours was at 11:30) but by the time we were done with our self tour it was 12 and the other couple was already there, let me know how it goes tomorrow, I'm curious. I think the woman we were supposed to speak with was Nancy, but don't quote me on that.
