Bridgewaters NYC reception

Bridgewaters NYC reception

I recently booked my reception at Bridgewaters for next April. I was wondering if anyone went to a wedding there and if so, what did they think of it? The food, service, etc? Which room was it in? I liked the place and it fit in our budget so I booked it quickly but I am getting nervouse since I have never been to a wedding there and do not anyone who has been. ANY feedback that anyone can give would be very helpful. Thanks!

sorry , never been there but I've seen pictures & it looks beautiful. I feel like you can't go wrong with a place like that in NYC, they are used to dealing with all kinds of people so don't worry, i'm sure you did good.
After I booked everything I started to 2nd guess everything because there are so many options out there but you just have to make the best of the things you decided on or else you'll change you r mind a million times & never book anything.
congrats on booking a place

My FH and I went to a wedding there last summer and it was awesome. The place is beautiful since it overlooks the Brooklyn Bridge. We were on corner where the seaport is (and you can walk outside on the balcony) and then the view of the bridge (not sure if that helps). Everyone commented on what a great NYC place it was with the views - the food was really good too. And the dance floor was nice and full the entire time. My company used to have their Christmas parties there too and we always loved them.

Try posting this on the NYC Knot board as well - there are a bunch of girls that are getting married/have gotten married at Bridgewaters.

Re: Bridgewaters NYC reception

We were looking at Bridgwaters for our wedding/reception and LOVED, LOVED the place. The space was nice and I loved that there was an outdoor terrace.

The only reason we didn't go with it is because there's usually a long break (~2 hours) between wedding and cocktail hour for indian weddings because the bride changes completely and gets her makeup re-done plus pictures. So there wasn't really a place to put the guests for 2 hours in NYC, whereas hotels have small hospitality suites and ballrooms for that. But that's the ONLY reason we didn't choose Bridgewaters.

My old job used to have our holiday parties there-everything was always nice. AND my cousin is getting married there in September-I can let you know more details after that!
