Several people who won't be able to attend my bridal shower have sent gifts to my mom's house. Should I have my mom bring those gifts to the shower and open them then, or do I open those on my own at a separate time?
I'd open them separately.... we got a few gifts - and made sure we sent out thank you notes asap.

I got a few gifts sent to the house, I didn't bring them to the shower. I sent a thank you card at the same time as everyone else's.
Bring them!
My mom brought them to the shower but I would've rather opened them separately. The gift opening usually goes on too long for my taste anyway.
I only had one that was sent to my house, so my mom brought it. I wasn't going to see her anytime soon anyway so it just worked out that way. Other people just sent them to my house and those I opened at home and sent notes right away.
I would open them separately.

id open them at home.. for my cousins shower we filled 3 jeeps with all the stuff she got

i would originally say bring them, but after reading everything there was some good points about having to them bring them back, and i just remembered all the showers i have been to and all the many cars filled with gifts and packing everything up. and its just a pain in the butt! so i would say open them and write a note asap lol
I got a ton at my mom's house. I opened them separately! It seemed silly to me ot treck them all the way there and then back again!
i'm bringing just 1 to the shower b/c this person doesn't have a car so she sent it to FMIL's house but is still coming to the shower so we'll bring it to open there
