Brisket recipe for slow cooker

Hey Ladies,

Does anyone have a good brisket recipe for a crock pot. We got one for our shower and I finally have time to make something in it...lol

Any suggestions would be appreciated

honestly, go to the super market, get the beef, and then buy the slow cooker mixes, add water and you are all set! Add potatoes or carrots and you have a meal!
We used the chicken one a few months ago and it was delis!

The bbq sauce, mushrooms and potatoes are starred because it wasn't in the original recipe, it was something I added in so I don't have a measurement for it. I haven't made this for awhile but I use about a cup of sliced mushrooms, quarter 2-3 potatoes and just a little bit of bbq sauce, maybe 1/8 cup?

Brisket
Ingredients
1 (3 pound) beef brisket
2 (12 ounce) bottles chili sauce
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
2 teaspoons garlic powder
*bbq sauce
*mushrooms
*potatoes

Directions
-Place the beef brisket into a slow cooker.
-In a medium bowl, mix together the chili sauce, onion soup mix, and garlic powder. Pour over the brisket.
-Cover, and cook on the low setting for 8 to 10 hours. Slice the brisket against the grain, and pour the gravy over the slices.
