Brite Smile or Zoom Whitening??

I need to do one or the other...please give me your comments...the good the bad and the ugly!!

Either one is good. Its just different companys. the crest white strips do work and very well too.

the bleaching trays, your dentist can make up too but the difference with them is that you have to apply the gel in them and wear them for either 4 hours if you do the day white or if you do night white for 8 hours or just regular gel something like opalescence than its worn at night for 8 hours- while you sleep. whats good about the trays is that you are in control of how white you want your teeth.

zoom or britesmile is a 1 shot process. your before and after pic will be taken to show you how you whitened. some results are good and some are bad and MOST are not to what you expected. but def try it- I would say percentage wise 85% are 100 percent happy with them. Ask your dentist if the zoom comes with any 'after' touch ups like britesmile- with britesmile you get trays made up, 3 tubes of gel, a whitening pen that you keep in your purse and after lets say coffee you paint it on your teeth and it also comes with a toothpaste and rinse- that probably why britesmile cost more than zoom but IMO worth it!

the main difference b/t the trays and the laser tx is the $$$$$.
Oh I forgot to tell you the MOST IMPORTANT thing you want to DO BEFORE you bleach your teeth with ANY type of bleaching agent. Go out and purchase ACT- rinse with that for at least 7 days everyday 2x a day before you do any bleaching, you will NOT experience any of that HORRIBLE ACHE you hear so many people complain about how their teeth get sensitive to cold and air after they bleach. Trust me, you need to remineralize your enamel before you put that carbamide on it!

what brand of gel did they give you? pretty much you can wear them for any amount you want or can tolerate, but what your 'suppose' to do is either 4 or 8 hours as rec from the manufacturer.

I had ZOOM done!! It was fine there were 3 15min sessions!! 45min total

I used Crest White Strips and my everyone (including my dentist )has asked me if I got my teeth bleached.

I just asked my dentist too. I'm considering the Zoom, but I'm hesitant b/c I have a bunch of dental work on my teeth & they said I'll probably have to redo some fillings.

Wow $350 is a great price. My dentist said 500. for Zoom, although after they'd give me the trays.

How soon b4 the wedding would you get it done?

i did a whitening through my dentist. he took a mold and gave me gel. it came out really good

Are you talking about the trays?

They cost about $300 $400. But because it's a mold of your teeth, you just have to buy the gel/paste refill everytime you want to use it.
