Has anyone taken pics there? If so, some infomation and pictures pleaseeeeeee :)
Im getting married at Russos on the Bay and as much as I want to take pictures at OWG, it dosent make sense to travel so far only to come back to Howard Beach.

FH and I go there all the time....although we haven't taken professional pics, it is an absolutely beautiful place for pics!!!! So many different spots you can take them at!

FH & I plan on taking pictures there between our ceremony & reception.

this is all the info that they give:
* Bookings are accepted on a first-come first-served basis. It is suggested that bride and groom bring their permit and come to the Garden a week or two before the photos to see what's blooming and to select their photo location.
* Fee: $250 for up to 20 people. (The fee is cash only and is non-refundable.)
* Sessions must be scheduled within the following hours:
April - September, 10 am to 4:30 pm
October - March, 10 am to 3:00 pm
* Each session is 45 minutes; a security guard escort is provided to enforce the time limit and to ensure the session is not disrupted.
* Wedding party must come at its assigned time. It is suggested that the party arrive 10 to 15 minutes before scheduled time so as not to waste any of the session time getting ready.
* No indoor photos allowed.
* If rained out, a rain date will be given. Rain date is good for one calendar year from the date on your permit.
* No food is allowed.

Also when i called they said they will start booking for 2010 on January 4, 2010.

This is the bad part b/c you don't get much time to go all around (not a min longer) and if your stuck with a bad guard they wont even let you walk on certain parts (just make you stick to the trail). -I know this b/c i was part of a bridal party and had the pics there.

Thanks for posting this. I was thinking about where I wanted to go for wedding pictures and was considering BG as well!

your not allowed to go all around. your only allowed to pick one location for pictures. yes they are strict but i can understand why. otherwise they would end up with massive amounts of people trying to take pictures. & if you go on a really nice day you don't want to end up with strangers in all your pictures.
