My MOH lives in Brooklyn and we are going to some salons near her on Monday. Any suggestions where to go? Thanks!

Re: Brooklyn bridal sores?
For my SIL's wedding this past November we went to Kelly's Kreations on 18th Ave. Although in the end the dresses were beautiful and we had them for the wedding we were not very happy with the service that we received (excuses of why the dresses weren't in, they would change the date of when the dresses we due in, and I felt pushed to the side when i went there for my fittings)

I went there during my gown search. While I was in the store, 2 separate groups came in complaining about the dresses not being in. One MOB, was losing it because it was a Thursday and her daughter's wedding was that Saturday.

I'd recommend Lotus Bridal on Avenue U, nice store and they had alot of beautiful dresses there. I know of Monica's Bridal but have never been there. I went to Lestan's, in my opinion I would skip it. They did not have a large selection and I did not find the sales people very helpful.

This is good to know about Lestans. They show alot of variety of dresses on their website. I was actually thinking of checking them out but I guess not anymore.

I went there specifically b/c they list alot of designers on their site. I really wanted to try on some Allure gowns and printed alot of pictures they had on their site, and when I got there she said they had none of the dresses I printed.

Re: Brooklyn bridal sores?
I loved Monica's they had a lot of dresses, and not overly expensive. And they have some nice Allure ones.
Lotus has a lot but it is a very small store with only 2 tiny dressing rooms. They have Allure and Maggie Sottero.
Valentina is nice, not a big selection but lots of bridesmaids. they did have some nice house made dresses.
DO NOT go to lestans!! Gross, dirty dresses, dirty store, and they did not help me at all! I know all the websites say the dresses re carried there, but I sure didn't see them.
I hear Doris is cheap, but they never answer the phone so I never went.
The white gown is supposed to be super nice wand not overly expensive, but I never made it there. They are closed Mondays I believe though.
There are 2 bridal accessory shops in Bayridge, sposabella and Everything but the dress.
I ended up getting my dress at Kleinfeld's good luck!!
