Brooklyn Brides

Hi - Any Brooklyn Brides have suggestions as to where to go for shoes and veils? Thanks!

Yay!! I was a brooklyn bride too! There are tons of places. I went to Lotus to get my veil as well as my gown. I also checked out a couple of places on 18th and 17th aves. I think one was called kelly's Creations. There is also Sposabella (sp.?) on 3rd ave. in Bay Ridge.

Check out my review. It has a bunch of Brooklyn Vendors.

Add Doris Fashions on 18th Ave. & 68th Street and Valentina's on New Utrecht Ave & 75th Street to this list. Also Lestan's on Ralph & Flatlands Avenue.

Chuckles and Shoebox on Kingshighway and like E. 16th/E. 17th. You will find gorgeous shoes but they are a bit expensive.

I bought my dress at Valentina and when I scheduled my first fitting I found a veil (surprisingly not one I would have envisioned for myself).

She is great!! She was very honest. I went to Valentina's first specifically to find a certain dress another LI WEddings bride had worn and told me she found it at Valentina's. Well... They did not have a sample of the dress at the store when I went there. I was so disappointed....but still decided to try other dresses; that is when I came across another dress I liked. Daniela suggested that since I really wanted the dress I had originally gone to the store for, I should go somewhere else where they have it and try it on before going back to Valentina's. She was right!!! I ended up buying the dress I had originally wanted. Valentina provided me with the best price. I went back to Daniela and she ordered the dress.
