Brooklyn brides

Hi;
I am from Bay Ridge Brooklyn, and was wondering if there are any other Brooklyn brides. Our wedding ceremony will be in Brooklyn, but our reception will be in Long Island

i'm in prospect heights/edge of park slope but our ceremony and reception are both on li.

Bay Ridge; our ceremony was in Bklyn Heights and our Reception on Long Island at Fox Hollow

I WAS a brooklyn girl when I got engaged and joined LIW last year (Sheepshead Bay). But the lure of LI was too strong and we moved here over the summer. 2000 posts on LIW will do that to a girl!

Born and raised in BK (Sheepshead Bay and Marine Park areas), but went to college on LI w/ FH and now we've relocated to Philly. We're gettin married (ceremony & reception) on Long Island. Once a Brooklyn girl though, always a Brooklyn girl!!

My DJ was below $2,000 for a basic package

My Photographer was below $2300 for a lot of stuff

FM what you need and might be able to help you

having church drama b/c I moved out of parish and trying to book in a parish that's not my own is causing big problems - any help would be awesome!

We are getting married in Long Island at the Venetian Yacht Club

What kind of trouble are you having? I am getting married at my parish in Brookyn, but I did find out information on another parish closer to the reception hall. All they asked for was a letter from my parish. The only thing with going outside your parish is that you might have to take the pre-cana classes in the parish where you are getting marry at....that is why we decided to just stay in our parish in Brooklyn.
