Brooklyn brides

Original post by Brooklynbride

Hi;
I am from Bay Ridge Brooklyn, and was wondering if there are any other Brooklyn brides. Our wedding ceremony will be in Brooklyn, but our reception will be in Long Island

Re: Brooklyn brides

my pastor wants us to have it done before the summer, even though we are getting married in the fall. he said since the summers are usually very busy he wants us to be 100% sure we get it done.

Good luck, girls.

I used all Brooklyn vendors, so let me know if you need help.

I was on a strict budget, and all the vendors were flexible.

for the bklyn catholic brides: when and where are u doing pre-cana?

my pastor wants us to go to st. finbar's in april/may.

How far in advance do you do pre-cana?

Hey girl

we did ours in April and got married in July. As long as you get it done before you get married your all good.

So...no rush. Thank You!

Brooklyn girl here...live in Bay Ridge but grew up in Bensonhurst.

We got married on Long Island though, DH grew up in LI and his parish was out there so we got married at his church and then had our wedding reception at the Woodbury Country Club.

Used Double Diamond for limos and Betcha I Can Getcha for my invitations and favors. Any help I can give, please don't hesitate to ask!

I like Precious Times Photography in Bensonhurst, but they were out of my budget As for florist I hear good things about the Wedding center (I think thats what it's called) It's a huge wedding Flower shop, on Coney Island ave and I believe ave T. I know it's passed ave R going towards brighton/Sheepshead. And I also heard good things about Marine FLorist which is in Flatbush and Flatlands, going towards Kings Plaza.
