Brooklyn Brides

Hey, for those Brooklyn brides. Which vendors did you use or are using for your flowers, limos and make-up/hair?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Florist- Flowers by Emil! Go to him 100%! He has the best prices, best flowers and does the sickest arrangements! Dyker Florist will rip you off BIG TIME!

Those are my only 2 BK Vendors.

So far my only Brooklyn vendor is Double Diamond limos.... I highly recommend them!!!
I haven't booked a florist yet but Im actually going to set up an appointment with Flowers by Emile soon. Glad to hear the positive feedback about them!

OMG trust me when I tell you, Carmine is an artist!!!!!!! He is seriously amazing! FM me if you want any info! =)) If I can, I suggest bringing him as much info as possible. Like a pic of your dress, pic of your girls dresses, what colors they are. He has an AMAZING eye!!!!! Just be prepared to be there a while! hehe Hes SUCH a doll, he loves to talk and he EXPLAINS EVERYTHINGGGGGG and why he would suggest that color or flower! He made me feel sooo comfortable! =))

Thanks for all the replies. I've heard good things about Double Diamond and romantique limos, so I'll check those two out and the florists you girls recommended.

I've also heard good things about Julie's Flowers on Coney Island Avenue, but I was told she's not very open to your ideas.

Both of my son's used the following vendors for their weddings:

Romantique Limos
86 Street & 15th Ave.

Classie Sounds Entertainment (DJ/Mc)
Ave O right off of Bay Parkway.

Classy Sounds actually moved their office but I dont know exactly where. Its still in bensonhurst I believe.

Also check out G and G entertainment! =) Classy SOunds is def SICK if you get Steve to DJ. BUT VERY expensive. G & G SICKKK DJ and VERy reasonable.

I used ALOT of Brooklyn vendors who I've used countless times in the past so these recommendations come from years of experience not just 1 interaction.

Double Diamond has the best limos with the best prices and customer service. Always on time!!

Madison Florist on Kings Hwy. So AWESOME!

5 Star Entertainment in Dyker Heights/Bay Ridge. Tom Hoefel is INSANELY awesome!

My older son had Steve as his DJ and he was fabulous. My younger son had Nick who was trained by Steve and brought along his own drums and he was great too! You can't go wrong with either one of them.

I second Madison Florist on Kings Hwy. I've seen their work at a lot of weddings. You won't be disappointed

Have used Double Diamond Limo in past for 30th birthdays etc. Love them. Not sure of their prices for weddings tho. Heard great things about Romantique as well. Never used them tho.

Hair...been to Olympia at Salon DaNoi. She does amazing work. She used to work at Pilo Arts then opened her own place - Salon Danoi... think its on 5th Ave in 80s. Lots of my friends go to Olympia...

Florists...can't go wrong with Emile or Floral Fantasy. My other girlfriend used Shannon Florist on Ft.Hamilton Parkway across from the cemetery. They are a nursery...so you basically get a better price and the freshest flowers. My friend received a lot of compliments...her flowers were just gorgeous and never wilted...saved a few centerpieces for Thanksgiving and they lasted for almost a week.... just so you know.

Thanks!!! I'm from BX but FH is from Brooklyn and it makes it so much easier when we don't have to drive so far to get to vendors.
