Brooklyn girls, any thoughts on Bubbys restaurant

Do you mean the one in downtown brooklyn that has pies??? I've gone to their location on Greenwich (maybe hudson) in NYC...their food is great...

as far as the park, if it's the one i'm thinking of...it's basically the brooklyn/manhattan view right?

Yeah, I believe so. it has two locations, downtown brooklyn and tribeca.

Yup that's it! My church is in that area, and we're going to the Brooklyn promenade to take pics - great view of NYC and all the bridges.

Bubby's has amazing pie - I seriously cannot emphasize this enough!

Their food is great - comfort food - if ya get my drift!

Yup that's it! My church is in that area, and we're going to the Brooklyn promenade to take pics - great view of NYC and all the bridges.

I've been there a few times and I know they have a bunch of events there. Food is quite cook, service is okay.


If you are considering having your wedding there you should know that their tables/chairs do not match...its intentional to get that home cooked looked. Its a great location but the parking is extremely limited.


Edited to add: YOu may want to look into Five Front, a restaurant not far away.

If you want something more edgy, I threw a party in the 'underwater lounge' of 66 water street restaurant. Prices really reasonable, fun space, good food and service.

Tanya, Bubby's food is really good- parking is limited, but train service is awesome to the area, depending on where your guests are coming from.

if you like that area, let me know. i can recommend some great place since I am from there, that may not be on everyone's radar, and has great food at great prices. (Queens too.)
