brothers family might not be able to come

My brother, sister in law and nephew are all in my wedding party. My brother called me today to tell me that since their deployment got moved up, they might have to do training and both my sister in law in his leave will be canceled. They just got back in Aug 06, and may leave as soon as June 07!!!

I'm so bummed! I'm praying that they don't have to do that training!

im sorry about that....thats one of the biggest problems i have - we have men and women serving our country, the least the govt could do is make sure that important days aren't missed - ie. births, marriages, etc...im saying a prayer for u!!!

Thank you girls! I'm used to the military because I get screwed a lot of times. But this is what we signed up for so I'm not mad, just sad if he can't make it

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it will all work out!!! There had been some uncertainty in whether or not my brother would make it to my wedding so i know how you feel. It all ended up working out okay for me and i sure hope the same for you!

My SIL's mom. She did last time. This time she's moving in their house so he doesn't have to change his babysitter and he can be in his house.

Yeah I know, but they have to do training before they go. Its different for the Army than the AF. They do a lot of field training before they go
