brown hair, brown eyes.....blue eye shadow???

I need opinions!! I have already had my trial at Maximus, and the make-up girl used a shimmery taupe color on my eyes. I am bored today so I decided to give myself a makeover...I used a bluish-gray color on my eyelids and I really like it! It looks more 'summery' to me since I am getting married in August. Is this in style at all (blue eyeshadow with brown eyes?) or is it too 1980's?? Provided that it's applied lightly, do you think it would look okay in pictures? Thanks!

I think in years to come, it will look trendy and dated in your pics if it is not done correctly so be careful!

I think blue eyeshadow is perfect for a night out with friends but for your wedding you want to look classic and elegant. Stick with neutrals.

More reasons to stick with the taupe:

- Blue in pictures can come out looking really bright
- Do not use any makeup which is shimmery or sparkly that day. It does not photograph well.

Besides, I love earth tones. The model below is wearing earth tones with a little umph on the lips. This is how I had my makeup done at my trial at Kimara Ahnert in the city and everyone loved it:

That pic that you attached is beautiful. It's made up but still very natural. I like that look because I don't like to wear a lot of makeup and I don't want to look completely different on my wedding day.
