Brown satin shoes

Anyone know who has a decent selection of brown shoes I can get for a May 3rd wedding? I am in the BP and the dresses just came in today and I won't get it until Sat! My fitting is on tuesday and I need shoes for it. Will it be really bad if the browns don't match???

Try going to DSW...or better yet bring a swatch of your dress and go to roosevelt field they have tons of shoe stoes,

Sandy's shoes in Massapequa has brown shoes. They will also let you take them with you and then you can bring them back to get dyed brown.

I had to wear brown satin shoes for a wedding I was in and I just brought a swatch from the dress and had them dyed. They came out great.

definitely go to Sandy's in Massapequa - we just got my sister a pair of HOT brown strappy shoes for her dress. they have lots in brown.

thanks girls, unfortunately I do not have a swatch of the dress, I pick it up Saturday and then my fitting is Tuesday so it doesnt leave me much time. Anyone know how long it takes to dye shoes? is a week and a half enough time??

I know I've seen brown satin shoes in DSW and Macy's. I think if you have a long dress, people most likely won't see the shoes, so if the color is a little off, I don't think it'll be bad.

But maybe do what someone suggested - buy a pair of dyeable shoes, take them with you before they are dyed to your fitting, and then get them dyed right after. Also, ask the place before buying if they can dye the shoes within a week and a half.

Payless sells dyeable shoes - in case you wanted to get something on the cheaper side.

well I went to DSW in Levittown tonight with FH and I picked up a pair of brown thong-like sandals. They aren't super dressy but I think I can get away with them since the dress is long. Plus I can use them to wear with jeans and capris in the summer. I will still keep an eye out in case I find something I like better but for $35 I figured I should grab them while I had the chance. I will see if I can find a pic online.
