You are so nice! I agree with you about those who work on holidays, my mom is a nurse and there was many a holiday we spent apart

BUT - she always brings in treats and they make a little party out of it.

FH came home and said they were a HUGE hit again. One of the guys was so mad he didnt get to have any. He had them last time and this time he didnt get to get any and yelled at everyone who did eat them because no one left him any.

Re: Brownie points for my FH at work again...

cool. I made a trifle today for FH party & he said they all liked it! I made it with fruit, not with Jell-o but you can do it both ways.

I am actually trying to learn how to make Tiramisu cups...we have a big party every week after the 4th of july & this year everyone is coming b/c of our engagement.... so I gotta impress the In laws

Tiramisu cups will definatly impress them.

I stick with simple things and usually kick it up a notch. for the browies i used duncun hines mix and added hershey's chocolate syrup and cocoa mix. for the cookies i did the low fat recipe and used apple sauce instead of oil (no one noticed the difference)

i do the same thing for mike....if its hot, a holiday, too snowy, rainy, etc i always do it...but they're so sweet they always make a point to thank me for whatever i make and rave about it - although someitmes i feel they go overboard - ie - i am just like 'hello - it was a box of brownie mix!'....but thats nice that you do it too!

I told FI to ask one of the guys when his birthday is because I'll make him a tray of brownies just for him. (he was mad he didnt get to have any this time)

That is really sweet. I love to cook & Bake so I take the opportunity when it comes.

I DON'T however do anything for the guys Will works with... I Can't stand them. They are very mean people who make FH job way harder than it needs to be

I like to bake too. Cooking I can pass on, but baking I enjoy. The peopel FI works with are nice. I met them a few times and they have been so nice to me.

Every opportunity I have to bake I do it.
