FH and I decided that we want a small (75ish people) brunch for our wedding. We need a place where we can also have the ceremony there. I really really really DO NOT want a catering hall. Instead we are looking for a smallish restaurant to take over or one that has a private room.
Any ideas? LI or NYC is fine.

Lombardi's on the Sound and Sans Souci have a wedding brunch and ceremony locations. Sans Souci has a 50 person minimum and Lombardi's on the Sound is a bit higher ( I think 75-100 for a brunch wedding).
Lombardi's is more of a catering hall...Sans Souci is an old mansion and has more of a restaurant feel.
I don't know about any others!

Check out Riverview Restaurant in Long Island City. Beautiful view, and I'm pretty sure they have per persons that are anywhere from $45-$70 depending on what you get.
EDIT: Nevermind above, just saw you need ceremony there also. Unless you want to do it on the piers :D

I went to a brunch at the bridgeview yacht club once. It was beautiful and not at all like a catering hall. Maybe there?
