Re: Brunch Restaurants in Nassau?

I know it's not a restaurant by Milleridge Cottage and Carriage house....The Carriage house is very nice an intimate, it is actually perfect for a shower. Resonable price too.

Re: Brunch Restaurants in Nassau?

Hey Beck!

Um-- I would look into places in Rockville Center-- there are a ton of restaurants and is centrally located.

Here are a couple places..
Trattoria Diane- I am having my RD there-- I can give you more info

These I looked up in Zagat...
George Martin- in Rockville center
Millie's Place- in Miracle Mile
Waterzooi- in Garden City
Giraffe Room- in Great Neck

Thanks Rand!!

It's funny - we are actually having our day after wedding brunch at the Giraffe Room - it's supposed to be so yummy!

Do you know if any of the one's you listed are buffet brunch?

Beck-- GC Hotel may be good too-- they have a nice sized event room- and the brunch is really nice.. My friend got married there last year, and she also had her farewell brunch there. the event space is like on the mezzazine level.. Perfect for a shower-- will FM you Carltun details when I get home tonight.

I am actually going to look into the GCH but I think that might be a little more than we want to spend. From what I've heard so far, it looks amazing though.

What's Tease like and where in Port Washington is it? My parents live in Port and when I go visit them I always looking for someplace to go to other than Shish Kebab or if we are going high end then Chez Noel.

I love it there, we went for dinner the other night and the food is great... It's right around the corner from Shish on shore Road...It's new american, everything is delicious! It's a little pricey, but I felt it was worth it.

ETA: the website is Tease
