Brunch Shower

Hi Ladies,

Has anyone been to a brunch shower? I think that's really what I want for many reasons. . . I've been trying to throw my mom some hints that that's what I envision . . . LOL I know she's in the midst of planning now.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on having a brunch shower, maybe late morning into afternoon - - - instead of an all day into evening event?

That is the type of shower I threw for my sister. She loved it. Everyone got there around 10:30 and she showed up at 11. Over by 2 and everyone went on to enjoy their day. I think it is a fantastic idea. I would have had the same type of shower except the place that it was being held had a fire the Friday before my Sunday shower so everything got changed. My sister's shower was at Nocello's in Northport and my shower was suppose to be at Rockhill in Manorville.

I think it's a great idea. I love brunch! In fact, we had a rehearsal brunch instead of a rehearsal dinner.

I have given brunch showers in my home for relatives and they were lovely and inexpensive. All that would matter to me would be if the people I cared about were there to help celebrate.

I like the brunch idea b/c it's something a little different, it doesn't completely kill everyone's day, and I think it can be done in a very classy and nice way.

i told my mother and bms that i would like a brunch shower. I love this idea and i hope this will save some $$$$ too.

That's really cool... I have to say, I love that idea too. Brunch is like my favorite thing to eat!!!

My friend is getting married in July and we (bridal party) are giving her a brunch shower. We are having an assortnent of foods from an egg station(any way you like your eggs; omelets, egg benedict etc.) french toast, pancakes, bagels, then we are also having chicken francaise, penne al vodka a salmon dish, side dishes. I think it will be Great!!! It is going to start at 11:00 a.m.

I love showers that are brunch! In fact, most of them that I have been to have been brunch...they start at around 11:30 and end around 3pm.

My shower was brunch ... and come to think of it, I can't remember a shower I've been at recently that wasn't brunch.

I have...and loved it!!!

I told my mom,,,I want my shower to be a surprise,,but I would like for it to be a brunch,,,in the summer,,,at a place right on the water!!!!!!!

I just had my shower. the guests arrived btwn 11 30 and 12 and I got ther at 12 30. It did run pretty late - until 5 bc I had so many gifts to open, but I didnt mind people leaving a little early. I just opened their gifts first!
