Is anyone doing this? We arent because well we dont have money and we will be staying at the hotel, so we will need to check out and go home to pack for the HM.. is that wrong??

im not..i mean we all get a free breakfast buffet the next day at the hotel so whoever decides to stay there will get it lol

I don't think its wrong...you gotta do what you gotta do...ya know!
The day after my wedding is Labor day and I'm sure we'll have a BBQ at my house or my dad's house but nothing fancy and def not a lot of people.

No lol. Too much money, no one is going to probably even stay in the hotel, ourselves included, and my family actually finds it an inconvenience.

The only reason we're doing a brunch the next day is because FH's family has a family reunion in July so we decided to make it a family reunion brunch with his and my family. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't have had it.

Everyone who stays at the hotel gets a complimentary breakfast so we are doing that.
Yesterday, FH just told me that FMIL wants to have brunch at the house. I think its too much and we should be relaxing and finishing last minute things b4 leaving for the HM the next morning. I feel like we are going to be exhausted at that point

We are not doing one either- The last thing I want to do the day after the wedding is host another party. I plan to spend the morning alone with FH.

We did it, we hosted a brunch for about 45 people the next day at a restaurant in Bayville.
I still had adrenaline going so i was wide awake, took a shower, did my hair, makeup and put on a pretty dress
It was fun, i saw alot of out of towners and my friends as well.

We are offering our guests breakfast (not sure idf there is a buffet). We have about 17 rooms blocked already at the East Wind.
