Brunch/Lunch places in the City

Tomorrow I'm meeting up with an old friend of mine in the city. We haven't seen each other in maybe 4 years. We figured we would meet for brunch/lunch and catch up.

What are some good places for Brunch/Lunch in the city?

I like Eatery but wanted to check out other options.

For Brunch, Essex is fantastic!! Busy, but awesome. $16 and includes 3 drinks!!!!

Try the teabox cafe at Takashimaya! They serve great salads, bento boxes and pots of tea.

thats what i was going to suggest.

Alot of ppl talk about sarabeth's

but just be careful of one thing. ANy popular brunch spot in the city will get VERY packed and sometimes even hard to get a seat or even waiting in line.

Sarabeth's is my all time favorite place for brunch. There are several locations but I like the one by Central Park. The food is fantastic and also pretty healthy!
