My FMIL called a place they've been going to for years in Ronkonkoma, called Bruno's. Now, tell me if this price is the average, or it's a great price? $22.95 pp, unlimited 4 tray Italian buffet, salad, beer, wine and soda. Not including tip, and tax. It sounds good, but I don't know.
I have never been there but the price seems really good. Is it a private room?
Yeah, it's a private room, and you have it for 3 hours. It's a bar/restaurant. The party needs to be done by 10pm because they have live music that comes in then. All we have to do is put down $100 deposit, and then we have up to a week before the wedding to cancel it for a full refund.
That is a great price. One way to save money is to ask your single friends and family members not to bring guests to the rehersal dinner. I am sure they will understand. But don't go into hock to pay for this. You can only do so much.
Do we have to invite the significant others of the members of the bridal party to the rehearsal dinner?
Oh well I guess they get to go on vacation too. My DH is from Ronkonkoma and he used to go to Brunos all the time. He said the food is good.
