BTDT Moms-Registry question

What could you absolutely not have lived without in the first year?

I am getting ready to do my registry and need ideas!

FP Aquarium cradle swing, although he outgrew it by 6 months.

Burp cloths.

Powder blue dirty diaper bags. I will NOT use a diaper genie-thingy so these are great for us!

So far my favorites would be:
Pack-n-play with bassinet and changing station.
Aquarium Bouncer
Swing (get the Aquarium swing!)
Millions of bibs and burp cloths.
Those gowns with no button, snaps, etc. - so easy for changing, etc. - Nick lived in them for 6 weeks.
I LOVE the Angle Care motion sensor monitor - it lets you know if your child stops breathing.
Boppy Pillow - I did not BF, but I still love it!
Mylecon drops.
Dr. Brown bottles.
Bath tub thing that is like a big sponge - I think it is called the Safer Bather - like $14. Makes the first baths much easier - no hard plastic tub!
BIG diaper bag.
Lamaze toys - Nick likes them all.
FP Aquarium for crib - I even take it with me when we travel.
If you travel alot - or go to grandmas alot, register for 2 of some stuff....

-Aquarium swing
-A bouncer
-Burp cloths-I like the plain white ones
-Outfits that have the mitts built in so the baby can't scratch their face
-Mylicon drops are great to have on hand.
-Wash cloths-our peditrican wanted us to only use wash cloths in the first couple of weeks, no wipes
-Boppy is great. If you're going to breastfeed you may want to look into Breast Friend.
-Thermal receiving blankets, I find them to be the best because they allow you to really swaddle the baby
-Baby Dekor diaper pail-easy to use and we haven't noticed any smells from it

I would add on all different bottles because each baby has their own bottle that works for them and it's good to try different ones. So register for one of each bottle until you figure out which one works for you.

THIS IS A GREAT ITEM! I got it as a gift and had no idea it even existed. If Jack wakes up a little during the night, this kicks on and he is fast asleep. Definately put that on your list!

I am loving the Carters sleeper bags for nighttime. It is like the sleepsack things but way cheaper. I picked up some at Kohl's for about $8. They zip right up and make nighttime diaper changes so simple and with no snaps etc, the baby doesn't really wake up.
