I was talking to a co-worker today and I told her I wanted everyone to blow bubbles as we were exiting the church (the church doesn't allow petals to be thrown).
She said I shouldn't use them because they leave a stain on the dresses and it won't come off. Has anyone else heard of this happening? Please help because if I can't use bubbles I don't know what else I can use.

My moh used bubbles at her wedding...there were no problems with staining and it loooked awesome in her pics!

I have never heard this before..and i have known alot of weddings with bubbles and it never stained a dress...I just bought 125 bubbles in the shape of a wedding cake for $13 on ebay!

Ive heard that, but unless u are blowing bubbles from 3 inches away, i think were all good..
My mom got them at a dollar store by me....20 for a dollar!

I heard the same thing, but my sister in-law used the bubbles and from what I know nothing happened to her dress and she's very anal about things

i think bubbles are fine.. ive never heard of anyone having a problem with them staining.. but ive never used them like that before.. my church doesnt allow petals or anything thrown so we're doing ribbon wands.. we had the ribbons printed and then put them together ourselves and added some stuff to them... heres a pic--

our church is the same way so we are using the wands as well.
i think its the distance issue for the bubbles.

I've had it happen as a bridesmaid...while holding the bubble containter I dripped some of the solution on my dress and it stained the fabric. Like a grease stain. I've never known the floating bubbles to leave stains on dresses, so you should be ok! HTH

I thought it stained certain materials, like satin? Wow, I hadn't even thought of this and I was going to do bubbles. Hmm...I might need to reconsider.
