Bubbles for ceremony?

Has anyone ever used bubbles for the ceremony. We are having an outdoor summer ceremony near the water. I was thinking bubbles would be cute, and weddingstore.com has heart shaped bubble tubes on sale. My mom said they might stain our gowns...is this true? HELP...not sure what to do!

Re: Bubbles for ceremony?

Thanks...it's such a little decision but also a very tough one to make. I would not be happy to ruin people's gown...and I'd cry it mine got ruined before the reception even started

Re: Bubbles for ceremony?

We had bubbles at our ceremony also and nothing stained. I don't think you'll need to worry. Even if a bubble lands on your dress it won't do anything to it...and most bubbles break before they even get near anyone lol.

Okay well that sets my mind at ease. I really didn't think they would stain b/c why would they keep selling them and Brides keep buying them? I think I'm going to order them, they are just too cute!

Re: Bubbles for ceremony?

Just be careful because soap is slippery. Will you be walking down any stairs or any already slippery surfaces?

No I don't think any stairs or slippery surfaces. We are getting married outside (weather pending) on a deck.

I keep going back and forth with this decision...so annoying...haha.

Re: Bubbles for ceremony?

i bought them...

dont bother getting them online. get ur 40-50% off coupons form ac moore or michaels.

go ot michales(u can use ac moore coupons @ michaels). get the bubble wands for about 4.50.

not worth getting them online cuz shipping is like an extra 6-10$.

Re: Bubbles for ceremony?

We are probably going to do bubbles too. Oriental trading has a bunch of different kinds for cheap, but the family/friends discount might still be the way to go. Worth a look though, just in case!

Re: Bubbles for ceremony?

I used bubbles at my wedding and they didn't stain my dress or my BMs dresses. They look amazing in our photos. I found mine at the Christmas Store/Christmas Shoppe - extremely inexpensive like $2.99 for a box of 24 or something like that.

Hey! Are they regular bubbles or wedding themed bubbles? I need probably around 100 or so. Maybe less, I'm not sure yet bc we are inviting around 225 expect around 175 at the wedding and we are having our ceremony at the RH 30 minutes b4 the cocktail hour. Will most people come to the ceremony??

Either way, I found cute heart tube bubbles on the weddingstore.com that are on sale for $5.99 for 48. Is that a good price? ANYBODY KNOW?
