Buddhist weddings???

I'm procrastinating - have to do my school work, but while I'm wasting time and waiting to hear back from FH's interview, I was wondering if anyone is doing a buddhist wedding? I thought I was the only vegan bride, and I was wrong, so I figured I'd give this a shot - would love feedback from anyone!

We are having a Jewish-Buddhist wedding (AKA Ju-BU!) - the interfaith Rabbi we are having did a double take when we told him - I wish I had a camera to capture his face!!! When people ask us if we are having interfaith, they assume Catholic because my FH is Italian, but we both love going to the Buddhist Ctr by us and love the philosophy, and want to incorporate it into our soecial day since it is somehting we are involved in. We had a monk picked out, but he derobed, so now we have to choose another monk - we have someone in mind - but I guess I'm curious if anyone else has done anything like this? I feel that maybe this time I may be the only one???
