Budget and RH

I'm really trying to keep my budget under 25K and i was just curious, for those of you who are somewhat in the same budget line, what RH hall are u using and are you doing a Saturday night wedding..? I realy want to have my wedding at a nice place but because my budget and guest list(80ppl) are small, it's a little frustratting. Anyone feel the same?

Swan Club is very beautiful, completely affordable, and can fit your party in a smaller yet still pretty room....

And you'd be the day before me

We hope to keep our budget between 20 and 25,000. We are getting married at Villa Lombardi's on a sunday afternoon. We only have to guarantee 75 people. FM me if you want more info.

Here are some places that may work for you that I have heard are reasonable:

Crest Hollow
Fox Hollow
Coral House
Riviera

for 80 people, i would look into larkfield manor. they just renovated not to long ago and its gorgeous! with the number of people your having, you might be able to get away with spending around $8000 for a friday/sat night. im getting married in august, on a friday night and im paying $122 pp but that includes my tax and tip. i believe a saturday night was 5 or 10 more a person. but that would definitly give you around 15000 to work with for the rest of your vendors, and everything.

How about the smaller room at Westbury Manor?

we are trying to keep our budget at 20,000 and we are using CLM. getting married at 1:30 on a Sunday. the hall will be under 11,000 including tax and tip and whatever.

we are looking pretty good budget wise. right now only at like 18,000 and have all our vendors booked. only need to do favors, tuxes and stuff like that.

edit.. oh and we're having approx 140-150 people

FH want to keep things under 15k. I am being realistic so i say 20k. lol... but I looked into Chateu Briand, Fox Hollow, and the Swan Club. These were the most cost effective. I am getting married on a sunday night in April. But I got even better rates for March on a Sunday night. I moved my date just so that I could have more flowers on the grounds at the Swan Club.

Keep looking and you will find a hall that is meets your budget.

Edit: btw I had to guarantee only 70 ppl for my date at the swan club .fox hollow and chateu brian asked for 85 or 95.

I have a budget of $20k and I am having 80 ppl as well. Beckwith Pointe is $85 pp w/o T&T for a saturday afternoon. Swan club was $70 pp for the same time and $98 pp for night.

Our January Sunday evening wedding is going to be around $9k for the reception...We're hoping to stay around $25k altogether. Wetsbury Manor was by far the most affordable for us, and we love it there!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Budget and RH

thanks everyone, my issue with having a wedidng in Long Island is that i would have to get one of those shuttle buses for the guests, because i know the ppl i'm inviting and they will not drive themselves to LI.

So i was looking at halls in Brooklyn and Queens, my problem was that i don't have enough ppl for most of them. So i'm debating whether i should settle for a hall that i really dislike but has a good price and gave me an 80 ppl minimum or should i spend more money and go in dept for something i love. Neither is looking too good right now.

no offense but if they wont drive themsleves out to your wedding, are they even worth having? i chose a place on the island where none of my fam is, but they can suck it up for one day... and really its like a half hour from the bronx

I would say dont settle for a hall you dislike. You may be able to get a better hall with a lower min in the slow months like Nov-Mar.

I'm having an Summer Saturday Night wedding at Douglaston Manor Golf Course. Everything is brand new and totally different from the way it was a couple of years ago. I know they have smaller weddings. My guarentee for a sat night is ONLY 100 people! FM me for more info.
