Oh, you can also check out Ariana Waterfalls for your RH. They have packages that include up to 100 guests, limo, dj, photographer, etc.... I think their biggest package was 17k (with tax & grat).

I wasn't crazy about the place, just wasn't what we were looking for.. but check it out.

I called Coral House and they gave me a price of $59 per person (sunday). I really wanted an out door ceremony, but it would cost more so my FI and I spoke it over and decided not to have an outdoor cermony, but at least we can take outdoor photos, which are really important to me.

they have an all inculsive pacakge... and it didnt change in price for a sat night if i remember correctly.... they include the invites,,, flowers.... limos....dj... photo...video.... under $20k for 100 people,...

Windows on the Lake has packages. They have a sister site Beach Club Estate too that has packages. They are both reasonable on prices.
Both are located in Lake Ronkonkoma.

well for the RH, have the wedding in an off time of year on a non holiday weekend w/ a basic menu and fewer guests... The more guests you have, the more your spending on invites, favors, cp's, etc etc

i agree with above poster that having it at a hall with an all inclusive package may be the way to go!

dj- highly recommend fm entertainment- $800 for a 1 man dj.mc

photog- also highly recommend nick g photography (www.nickgphoto.com)... he has a package that includes a great deal for around 1k

video- halo video... packages starting at $700 i think (if you even want video.... def not necessary) or you could try nick g's guy: skidmark productions who is def even cheaper!

Wedding Plaza in Floral Park had a wedding package deal with Douglaston. I think it was $20,000 for up to 100 guests, limo, DJ, Photo/Video, Tux Rental, Bridal Party Flowers... etc. Just did not include CP's.

Swan Club has some decent prices too.

I've heard some bad things about the food at Coral House.

If you want all inclusive you should check out the holiday inn in plainview. Its VERY pretty, and costs around 10K for 100 guests including DJ and photo.

Anyway, I'm thinking about pushing the date up a year for 12-29-2011. It will be our tenth anniversary as a couple, so it is a very meaningful day, its in the winter, and it falls on a thursday. That has to be put into debate however since FH does not want to change the date!

If this helps you, I went to the brentwood country club today to check it out. I got price quotes for Jan/Feb 2010. A wedding of 100 people you get Full cocktail hour with passed hors dovre, as well as hot stations, Full sit down dinner with premium liquor service. Photography package which includes a flush leather album, 2 parent albums, Flowers, Video, DJ, Limo and invitations!

For winter 2010 cheapest was a sunday day (11-5) $9995, additional people over 100 its 55 bucks a head.

This is excluding a 15% service charge and sales tax

If you have a ceremony there it's 700 bucks for the ceremony fee

The most was Sat PM - $12495 over 100 its 70 bucks a plate.

I didn't get prices for other times of year because we just wanted the most reasonable. But the great news is if you choose to use a different photographer they take 1200 off the price. If you deduct other service they aslo take off the price. I would definitely call and make an appointment. The banquet manager scott was very friendly

Look into riccardos by the bridge, astoria world manor, brunos on the boulevard, villa russos, dantes (these are all in queens), you can even have a budget wedding with leonards of great neck in the winter months....also try to DIY a lot of stuff like invites, cp's, cardbox...and for dreses you can try sample sales or places like rk bridal or davids bridal
