Budget Brides

Are there any brides out there that wer able to stick to a 12,000 budget including DJ,Photograpy etc. I'm getting good prices on halls but after tax and gratutiy is added on it's about 15-20pp more and we can't do it. We're paying for our own wedding and have a baby so we can't afford anything huge. We're having around 120 ppl and looking for a Friday night. I live in Florida so going to place is not an option. I have seen Med Manor and know Miller Place Inn and Bcc offer packages.

Yup, we spent a little under 12,000 (not including honeymoon), AND we planned from far away :). However, we only had 75 guests, so that definitely helped in cutting costs.

Also, we had our wedding in January on a Saturday noon day, and that helped cut the costs dramatically.

I think I might have posted yesterday abotu the Brentwood Country Club. They have a 10K package deal. It's really good. Full CH, open bar (topshelf) flowers, photog, DJ, 5 hour reception total. That is for 100 people I dont know what the price is once it is over the 100 person limit.

My cousin and my step-sister were both married there and both weddings were great! I would def check them out

If you're willing to switch it to a Sunday daytime wedding, you might get better prices per person. That's what we found when searching.

Are you really planning on this July? Because if so...you have a lot of power to bargain - places offer discounts when you're so close to the date.
