Quick question for you. How much are you budgeting for invitations? I feel like you might be able to get some for around $500, including thank you cards, reply cards and so on. But then there are others that you have to pay $500 just for the invitations.
How much are you all paying? (if you don't mind)

Re: Budget for Invitations
Mine must have come out to somewhere around $330 before tax. I got 125 invitations with inner and outer envelopes, reception cards and response cards with response envelopes. I got this one.
I found this fabulous woman on the internet who customized my invites for me. With a response card, reception card, invite, all envelopes and printed return addresses I paid $550 for 105 invitations.

I am also having her do our thank yous.

Re: Budget for Invitations
If I would have just gotten 100 invitations which'll probably be enough, but I didn't want to chance it, it would have only been like $275 for everything. That's why I really didn't want to order 25 more. But if I order 25 more now of everything, it's only $55 more. But if order 25 invitations later on having to put in a new order, well it is going to more than twice as much.

My budget was $300...and I spend about $350 for 75 invites and response cards. I did the envelopes myself on the computer...no money left for professional calligraphy.

Re: Budget for Invitations
I'm budgeting $1,000 for the invitations and calligraphy -
Those look like they're worth the $700! Wow. The one with the bows are pretty too. I think the bows is what adds so much money onto it.
Is it better to handwrite the addresses or get a calligrapher? I can have nice handwriting. How much does calligraphy add on

Re: Budget for Invitations
i'm making ours. supplies cost us about 30-40 dollars, the crafty things to make them cost about 40, but i will also be able to use them for many years to come, so i don't count that stuff really, stamps will be about 50-60 bucks and i will be doing my own calligraphy.
