Budget-friendly alterations?

Looking for some feedback on alterations in the Nassau County area? David's Bridal just called me yesterday and told me my dress is in already!! I just ordered it last week, and wasn't even expecting it for at least another month!! I'm not sure I want to use their in-house alterations though, because they seem really overpriced. Was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place for alterations that won't cost me a fraction of what I spent on the dress!

I'VE ALWAYS GOTTEN MY DRESSES ALTERED AT JIM DANDY! THE ONE IN WANTAGH HAS A VERY NICE OLDER ITALIAN WOMAN WHO MAKES MAGIC HAPPEN! IM NOT ABSOLUTE CERTAIN SHE DOES WEDDING DRESSES BUT I CAN'T IMAGINE HER NOT!

Budget-friendly alterations?

I used a lady named Millie in Floral Park. She used to be the head seamstress for Priscilla's of Boston when it was still open. She now works out of her home and is AWESOME. Super nice and very reasonable! She is an LIW vendor if you look under 'alterations' 516-775-1774

Thanks for the suggestions - I think I'm going to check with Millie in Floral Park! :) I saw that she was listed here as one of the vendors, so I'll start there.
