budget friendly wedding dress

I have been looking at Maggie Sottaro dresses and can't seem to find a dress that catches my eye.

Any tips on designers that aren't over the top in cost?

I live in Cali and will get married in NY and as much as I would love to get a dress in NY, I think it's best to get it here so I don't have to fly in every time for fittings. I'm hoping to find all these brands here in LA!!! Thanks sooo much

I think it depends on what kind of dress you like. Each designer is so very different...my dress was a Symphony dress, but that wasn't the only designer I looked at. I went into bridal stores and explained what I liked and what I didn't and tried dresses on based on that...not necessarily by designers.

I would look into David's Bridal as well. They have so many new designers including Vera Wang and the dresses are truly stunning!

A few other reasonably priced brands are Allure, Demetrios, Casablanca, Alfred Angelo, and Blue by Enzoani. My dress was Blue by Enzoani.

Did you try Kirstie Kelly? She's pretty affordable too. She's having a blowout sale of her signature collection at the moment. Some were those costco dresses, now they seem half the price. I know it sounds weird being made in bulk for costco, but they're not bad at all! i think it's on the same price line as maggie sottero but I could be wrong.

Have you tried David's Bridal, I went there to try on dresses and there was some really beautiful ones and definately budget friendly!! Definately check them out!!

thanks everyone!I looked into David's Bridal and saw a couple that I liked but was not in love with. I am not being very open minded as I have a picture of what I want my dress to look like. Thanks for the tips, I shall continue my search
