So this weekend FH asked me to see the wedding budget for the first time. I almost threw up because I told him I would keep it under a certain number and the budget was right at that number. I never thought he would ever want to see the budget. I told him I overestimated things (which I really did) so I could make sure we stayed under budget. He said I was missing important things on it....like all the TIPS!! ooops. I thought that was just extra and didn't want to include it in the budget. Well of course he wants me to put it in. Please help. Who do you normally give tips to and can you give me an average dollar amount so I can give him something? Also, I know this is a hard question but what is the average budget for flowers. Thanks ladies.

hmmm, since my tips are included at the RH, I was budgeting like another $600 in tips. For my DJ, MC, Drummer and then for the people doing my Cocktail Hour and Church music. Then I figured any miscellaneous people I need to tip along the way. That might be a lot or grossly underestimated, but its what I have in there for now.
Flowers, it depends on SO many things. We don't want to spend a lot on flowers, so we only budgeted $2500. I've seen some girls on here spend as much as $7 or $8k.

We budgeted tips into our budget. I think it all depends on the contracts you sign with your vendors.
Recommended amounts to tip by RH: Matre'd - $3-5 per guest we have at the wedding Bridal Attendant - $1-3 per guest at the wedding
Others vendors to keep in mind: Band/DJ Photographer Videographer Makeup Artist Hairstylist Transportation driver Wedding Coordinator
Florists all depend on what you want for the wedding. Most of them are really flexible to work with. If you have a specific budget amount, let them know when you start talking with them, and they should be able to work out what they can do for you for that price.
