Any advice out there about how to creatively construct a photography package that will fit my budget?
Basically, I absolutely cannot spend more than $1,000 for a photographer, but we are not looking for any videography and we're considering only having the photographer for 5 or 6 hours (a couple hours before the ceremony, the whole ceremony, cocktail hour and half of the reception).
First of all, does something like this even exist? Are there things I can avoid in order to hit my target?
I'm not even sure what a normal photography quote looks like

Photography i've learned is REALLY expensive. A lot of places i've seen online their lowest prices are $2000+. Your really going to have to do your research to find something to fit your budget but i'm sure its possible.

A little over your budget but check out Photographer Gio. He does fantastic work. I think he has a 4 hour package. The best part is that you get full rights to your photos so you can print and do your own album. My brother used him, I am using him, ans we know several people whjo have used him and were nothing than than thrilled with his work.

If you don't want an album or printed photos, or thank you's, this is possible... FM and maybe I can help you with some vendor names...
Also, some places will keep the photos for 1 year+, so you can buy an album after the wedding if you choose to do so! this well def help keep prices down

This! a friend of mine used him and the pictures were beautiful. And he got the inexpensive package around $1000. Never would have known if he didn't tell me.

Don't forget if you're short money, most photographers have you pay your balance after the wedding.
