when you sat down to wrok out your budget, did you include every single little thing? i mean, like rb pillows and unity candles. we didn't add that stuff in, b/c it won't cost more then $100 and we can just do that out of pocket.
anyone else?

No, I didn't count that stuff either. I figure that could just come out of our pockets.

Me too - I am even factoring in tips and stuff like stamps for the invites, the cost of paper for the programs, etc. I want a true picture of what I am spending on my wedding.

Re: budget question
No, I didn't really count them on my budget sheet, but I put in what I could remember. A lot of things just came out of pocket for us. I don't think I want to know the total cost of every little thing right down to wrapping paper for the BP gifts!

Re: budget question
I counted everything that I planned on, right down to the stamps!! However, since joining this website there are a large number of DIY projects that have just come out of pocket that weren't in the original budget because they weren't part of the original plan.

No i did not...didn't want to know what the actual final cost of everything would be. It makes me feel okay hoping that my 'estimate' was okay without actually knowing the final ##! I may die if i actually added every little detail up!!

Re: budget question
We budgeted for everything. As any items were added we re-budgeted. I was obsessed with our budget.

Re: budget question
We only budgeted for the vendors, RD, favors, gifts, and stuff like that. All other stuff is just out of pocket

Re: budget question
I counted everything - I even doubled what I thought the total for tips would be. I highly recommend OVER estimating the cost of everything.

Re: budget question
i included all the little stuff- IMO, thats the stuff that can really add up, and you dno't realize it becasue to you its just buying afew things here and there... so i would definitely keep track of all that, and where that money is going....

Re: budget question
I tried to include everything I could think of. The little stuff will add up after awhile
