is it cheaper to get married in May then in July on a Saturday night?

Crashing...Its cheaper in April then July. August is also cheaper.

September/October is expensive.
Decemeber can be expensive because of the holiday season.
November can be cheaper but some places are charging
the same.
IMO April is your best bet.

Sundays are cheaper if you are open to that.

Thursdays in the summer are now popular.

Also negotiate the best way you guys can. Ask for freebies, if you can guarantee more people ask for a lower rate. More people, more money.

Twighlight times are cheaper like 12pm-5pm, or something like that.

Sand Castle is beautiful (I am also biased lol) but for a Saturday in July the pricing is on the higher end about $200pp give or take. (Hence my wonderful winter date lol!)

You should look into the last weekend of April, this way it is almost like May weather but you should still get the April pricing. May, June and October I'd say are the 3 most expensive months to get married in

Try Thatched Cottage. My cousin got married there on July 6 and it was wonderful! And she is really cheap, so I know it wasn't really too expensive.

That's my venue and I love it. But I have a minimum of 125 people and if I ONLY have that many I will be just under your budget. But I am also on a Sunday night.

you could do something a little unconventional.. if that is your taste..a friend of mine went to a wedding at four food studio.. she said it was amazing - they have the space, dance floor, hue bar, out door area, lounge area and a pricate room which was used as a bridal suite- worht a shot!

We got married this past Saturday at the Sand Castle. We had an afternoon wedding -- didn't cut costs on the charge per person (they charge the same, day or night) -- but instead of a 200/250 minimum we only had a 135 minimum. It was perfect because we didn't want anything too intimate with few people, but didn't want a HUGE affair.
