BUDGET...Christmas

FH and I decided that because we're paying for the wedding ourselves, we're going to forgo buying each other Christmas presents this year....I got him a card but it seems so lame, should I get him something? And then what if he doesn't get me anything and he feels bad????

FH and I did the same thing-no presents...We just got cards for eachother and that was it- we really can't afford anything else. And it sux because his birthday was Dec. 10 and I couldn't really get him anything then either. Well, I did give him some $$ to pay one his bills-I guess that counts

FH and I are also forgoing Xmas gifts this year. get him something small like a cd or something small.

maybe that would make you guys feel better. like a $25 budget or something. that way you're unwrapping and giving each other something.

even $10, $15... giftcard to favorite coffee shop, bookstore, whatever...

If you feel guilty about not getting him something....get something small like a book or cd that he may like to have...

we tried thiis last year and i hated it! i hated wrapping gifts for my co-workers and not having anything for my love.

so i was not feeling it last year. so i told FH NEVER AGAIN!!!

so we are still broke, but we are exchanging. nothing too crazy tho.

I totally agree girls, I'm going to get him something small, He is by far my best gift this year so I think he deserves a token of my appreciation

we agreed not to get each other big gifts. I got him a snowglobe of yankee stadium and it was $35. I don't know what he got me yet
