Budgeting for my wedding

Do you think that will be enough? after all 2008 just started.

have any of you girls come up with a budget yet?

That should be enough, every budget is workable. Is your budget including tip's? If it's not including tip's then you may end up going over budget. Were trying to keep our budget in the low 20's. Check out these site, they may help:

Wedding Expenses

Cutting corners

Hope this helps

thx those posts look very helpful, Tips, thanks for reminding me, i forgot all about that.

It should be enough, we are planning to stay under 20k for 100-120 people, hoping to stay well under, but you never know.

WELCOME

Thanks Eternity.
my FH is the spreadsheet freak so i'm sure he will have one a mile long that i wont even want to look at.
I'm looking at bout 175-225 people, i would love to keep it within 30K, but i'm guessing it may go close to 40k with all the things that i havent thought of yet. for one tipping.......

Re: Budgeting for my wedding

just figure out exactly what you want and how much your willing to spend for it...
to try to help save some money go to bridal shows and enter contests, go online and enter wedding contests (your bound to win something if you keep entering those things...) it may be a shot in the dark to win, but isnt it worth the try?
FH and I just had to cut our guest list by over half to be able to afford the extra things that we want...it stinks that we have to exclude people that we want there but if it puts us into debt for the first 5 years of married life its not worth it....

35k should be good- it depends on your taste and budgeting skills... my father offered 50k from now-- so hopefully i will stay around there--
