I am having an outdoor CH and VH in June and I was wondering for any past outdoor wedding brides have you came across any bugs flying around in your food or in that area????? In the summer I always see little white bugs flying in swarms, I hate that. I hate dragonflies as well EAK!!!!. And for the night mosquitos another EAK!!!!!. I hope its not a problem to me and my guests. Did anyone have a problem with bugs, especially WM brides?? TIA!!

what time is your cocktail hour?
We had an outdoor cocktail hour and dont recall any bugs or flies.

Most RH with outdoor space for ceremony, CH or reception with spray the area to keep the bugs away. Check with them just to make sure.

Really they spray, that would be good, I have to ask about that. My CH starts at 6:00pm and VH is at 11:00pm RH has water around it so Im afraid of mosquitos at night. I dont want my guest to come home bitten

I am also worried about this because, my friend went to a wedding last month and the nats were all over the place. I am speaking to my BM about this in 2 weeks.

I'm having an outdoor Ceremony and CH too!! I didn't even think about this. I will def be asking my place about spraying as well.
