I'm not really planning a budget based on percentages. I know I have a certain amount of money I want to spend and when I see different vendors and different prices, I figure how much that would leave me with for other stuff when I book them. I think this sounds strange but for me it's working.
thats exactly what im doing. the percentage budget was confusing me. im hoping to get everything for under 10-15,000 after the rh because the rh is already costing us almost 18,000 so i dont want to spend much more.

Those are more or less my numbers too...some things I think are worth more, some less. I will not go flower crazy. They are beautiful but not worth thousands and thousands of dollars. I hope to keep it under $2500 for flowers.
