So I totally love my invitations, except for two things:
1. I very specifically coordinated the names on my list. If a couple lived together, but were not married, their names were on two separate lines.
Miss Jane Smith Mr. John Doe
If a couple was married, but did not share the same last name, they were listed on the same line.
Mr. John Doe and Miss Jane Smith
Instead of this format, I got back envelopes that combined all names onto one line. I am so bummed out because I took a lot of time to look up the proper etiquette and format my list accordingly. What I did not take a lot of time to do was to thoroughly explain this to the girl doing my invitations.
2. I hate the way the envelopes look with stamps on them! Boohoo!!!

I am sorry you don't like your envelopes, but I am sure they look fine. Did you get any extra envelops, that she can maybe do over, at no charge? I would ask, can't hurt to ask!

Yeah, it's really not that big of a deal. It's just frustrating!! I thought about asking her to redo them but I am not sure it's worth the hassle and throwing off my timeline...

Sorry to hear that.
I spent hours upon hours DIYing my invites until I thought they were perfect. The when I mailed them half of them somehow got wet along they way and when they got to where they were going they were ugly. I was so pissed but I guess their is really nothing you can do. At least it is only the invites.

I am so sorry to hear that...you must have been so bummed out. A good night's sleep renewed my perspective and I am over it! It's hard when you try your hardest to have everything be fabulous but you can't sweat the small stuff, righT?

Yeah, we made a mistake on one of the envelopes that we had calligraphed and didn't realize till we received them and were checking addresses but won't re-do it. We know one chiropractor and instead of putting Dr. put Mr. instead! YIKES!!! I totally forgot about that one. It costs too much to have one redone, too much time too, and he's the husband of a friend anyway, not the actual friend we're inviting.
Our calligrapher also put for M.D. doctors where the wife was the doctor, the wife first then the husband, but we didn't list it like that on the list we sent her. I hope no one gets mad as they're pretty old school people! Oh well! They're absolutley fantastic looking envelopes, more than I could've dreamed great looking.... but I'll blame it on our calligraphist if I get in trouble!
