Holy cow. . .talk about awkward. I BUMPED INTO MY FH'S EX at, of all places, a 6th grade All-County music festival rehearsal this week! I know who she is--they went to the same temple and I met her once before when a piece my FH composed was given its 'world premiere' over the summer (he's a musician/composer/music teacher). Anyway, I'm the teacher liasion/chairperson of the orchestra, and at the first rehearsal with the kiddies on Wednesday after school, who should be standing in the back of the room as I'm getting instruments tuned but her. She comes running up to me, all BFF-like, and says, 'OMG, I know you! You're the only person I recognize in here!!! Hiiiiii!!' and gives me a hug. Yeaaaaaaaaah. . .talk about awkward. Turns out that she just got a music teacher job this year and was chaperoning her school district's bus that night. I made quickie small talk then ran over to my friend who is helping me run this orchestra. She gave me the 'OMG-I-can't-believe-what-she-did!' look. I told my FH when I got home and he had basically the same reaction as me. Thought you would find that funny for a Friday.

It was just so freakin' weird. I forgot to mention that this was the girlfriend before I came into the picture. . .they were together for something like FOUR YEARS. They had been broken up for about eight-nine months before my FH and I started dating. Still. . .I don't think I would EVER run up to the girlfriends/wives of my ex-bfs and do that, no matter how few people I knew in the room.

That happened to me with one of my Fh's exes. Not really ex girlfriend, more of a friends but slept together when he was drunk a few times-she had feelings for him-he didn't for her- situation. Nice right?
so she's good friends with one of his sisters so unfortunaly I got to run into her a few times and she likes to come in for the hug and the 'HIIIIIII!'. Ugh. FH says she's trying to be nice and tells me to stop being bitchy. lol. whatever.
