Bumping Question

What exactly is bumping and how do you do it?

Re: Bumping Question

bump stands for

Bring
Up
My
Post

It sends a thread to the top of the page.

You can bump a thread by writing 'bump', asking 'any more ideas?' or by putting a smiley, etc.

In fact, I just bumped THIS thread
I crack myself up.

Re: Bumping Question

It means to bump one of the topics to the top of the chat list so others can see it....all you have to do from what I know is just type 'bump' as a reply in the topic you want knocked (or bumped) up! HTH

no it worked.. everytime u respond to a post.. it brings it back up as the first post.. but if u check back 10 minutes later. other people will have responded to different posts .. so it brings it back down in line... do u get it???

Re: Bumping Question

Nooo,, But if u go back to the orgional page, where u check the threads, your should be up there in the top few..

In toher words , when u BUMP , its just like responding to a thread , which in turn makes it reappear at the top of the thread list ,, Get it ,,
