I have my appt with the florist Sept 29. Before I actually go... I want to get the feel for the place, or more like the work they do. So ladies...What do you think of their work so far?

Re: Burton Flowers in Melville
I have mixed feelings about them. I went in for an appointment and met with Mike. I told him the style of flowers I was looking for (orchids, curly willow branches) and i was very turned off by the way he responded almost as if my ideas were 'too much trouble' for him or something.
He kept pushing me to go with calla lillies when I said to him from the beginning that I didn't want them. I just felt like he wasn't being accommodating at all.
I WILL say however, that they gave me an EXCELLENT price! The lowest quote I received.
But because I didn't feel confident that he would do the flowers the way I envisioned them, I decided to go with another florist.

Quick question for you B ladies... what does the place look like? We passed by a place that said 'B's' on Friday night and it looked like a little shack on the side of the road with a yellow sign... is that it?! I'm so confused!!

That's it! lol
But it's fine inside. A small house on a side road.

I also booked them. My mother knows several people who used them with good results. They are very open, flexible and have good rates. And they have been in business for decades, which mattered a lot to me.
