Burtons

So I went to Burton's today and found the bm dress for soooooo much cheaper. I was so happy, like it was my money. The truth is I know what it felt like to have to spend $350 on a BM dress that you will never wear again. I originally saw the dress for $250 w/o alterations, which would be an extra $50. Burtons is charging us $135 b/c we are buying 7. I was so happy!!!!
GO FIGURE the only thing at my wedding that I did not go over in price is the only thing I dont have to pay for :(.

Thats great, congrats. I have an appointment on DEC 11 there for my 3 bridesmaids and the moms. I cant wait.

I am not sure if you've seen the place yet.

Wheres Burtons?? What do they have there? I need to go somewhere to find my Dad's wife a dress - even tho I wish she wouldnt come altogether - but nothing too expensive.
I also need to find a place to get my Gramma's dress - shes coming in from CA to look for one, so we are going to need to find one in a short time. Any suggestions?

jonsgirl -- burtons doesn't carry MOB dresses. But if you see one you like somewhere else they'll order it for you, usually for cheaper.

hahaha ok I'm an idiot. I thought they were a florist but then they were talking dresses and I got all confused.... the turkeys still in my system.... thanks

They have dresses and flowers. Upstairs they have dresses (not a big selection but she can get you any dress if you give her the style #) and on the main floor (its a house) they do the flowers.

I agree with everyone. They dont have much of a selection. But if you talk to Carol and you have pictures of what you want, she will give you a price that cant be beat! I plan to purchase my dress along with my BM dresses for Burtons.

Yes, that's what I did. Went to all of the hoity-toity salons... oh and not so hoity-toity... just like saying hoity-toity Found my dress, then called Burton's (only found out about them through this site) and CHA-CHING saved almost 40%... CHA-CHING, $$$$$$$$$$

Wished I knew about them when I had to pay over $450 once for a bridesmaid dress... INSANE
