Re: Burtons

havent gone through them yet for dresses... im trying to avoid it bc my girls dont live around here so it would be a pain for them to make trips to LI.... i did get my own dress through them and ordered it in Aug and havent heard anything yet.... there is 1 thing i dont like about the place, but you can FM me if you wanna know... rather not post in case they lurk...

crashing..
i've been there twice for BM dresses. everything there has gone smooth for me..alterations, paying, time frame etc. the only thing is..if you go there on a saturday to try on or get measured and what not they can be a bit snotty. im sure its because they are swamped on saturdays.

I went there for a BM dress about 2 years ago. It's certainly no frills, and at times i found them to be rude...it's also very small upstairs, and alterations were questionable. To save money, i'd much rather go through RK Bridal (which we did for my wedding), and do no frills mail order. Comparing the experiences, RK was much better.

This is why I did David's for bridesmaid dresses--I have two OOT girls. FH is doing Men's Wearhouse for tuxes because he also has two OOT guys.
